Rug Cleaning Instructions:

  • Use a lint roller, vacuum cleaner, or cleaning tool included with each order to remove fine dust or pet hair from the rug surface.
  • For dry stains, scrape with a carpet scraper and vacuum. For wet stains, use warm water and a cloth/sponge to moisten the stain and fade it. Avoid using harsh chemicals to remove stains.
  • Avoid wet washing or soaking – avoid using the rug/carpet in damp areas to protect its structure.
  • Do not wash/tumble dry.

Hand-tufted rugs and some common minor issues:

Small lint appearing on the rug surface: Lint is a natural phenomenon of some materials in hand-tufted rugs and will gradually disappear and stabilize after a period of use and gentle cleaning.

Small wool may sprout above rug surface: Wool sprouts are natural in products made using the hand-tufted method – to avoid pulling the wool out of the surface, you can cut the protruding wool with scissors.
